What is a Vampire procedure?
Why are these procedures so special?
A Vampire procedure begins with drawing a small amount of blood from the patient’s arm, as one would do when giving a blood sample. One to three tubes of blood may be collected, depending on the treatment being performed. The blood is then spun in a high speed centrifuge in order to separate the Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP). Our platelets have 8 growth factors that are responsible for healing damaged tissue, when an injury or wound may be endured. When we separate and collect the PRP in a centrifuge, we compound those growth factors by 10 fold. The PRP is then activated into a Platelet Rich Fibrin Matrix and injected back into the site of choice. Now the PRP will stimulate our own stem cells to grow new collagen and microvascular blood vessels, which will enhance shape, texture, tone and sensation.
Vampire Facelift
Vampire facelift is performed when there is volume loss in the face.
Whether you have deflated and drooping cheeks, deep smile lines, deep marionette lines, sunken under-eyes or jowls. The Vampire Facelift restores this volume loss by first injecting a hyaluronic acid filler, such as one of the Juvederm family of fillers. This will create the lift and structure that is needed and acts as a scaffold under the skin. Then the PRP is injected in the same areas, on top of the Juvederm base. An immediate result is seen, however the results will continue to evolve over the next 3-6 weeks as our stem cells go to work brightening and softening the skin texture and tone.
Hair Restoration
Hair restoration is performed by injecting PRP into the scalp where the hair is thinning.
It does not grow hair where there is complete balding, but for thinning hair it works in the same way by stimulating the hair follicles with the growth factors collected in the PRP.
Breast Lift
A breast lift can be attained by injecting Juvederm and PRP into the cleavage to give it a more robust appearance.
This is achieved by adding volume to inner portion of the breast. The effects are quite nice when wearing a bra or bikini and give the subtle appearance of fuller and more voluptuous breasts. Results can last up to 2 years.
